In this paper, new hybrid nanocomposites based on Co-doped TiO2 and 2,9,16,23-tetra-tert-butyl-29H,31Hphthalocyanine (TTBPc/Co-TiO2) with different content of cobalt have been prepared and characterized. Also, the influence of Co content (0, 0.05, 0.5, 1.0 and 3.0 Co mol %) on properties of nanocomposites has been evaluated. Co-TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by the solgel method. Hybrid nanocomposites were synthesized by the precipitation method. The study carried out using XRD, FT-IR, DRS and TEM techniques. Results revealed that TTBPc/Co-TiO2 nanocomposites possess the anatase structures, which were composed of 1525 nm of crystal sizes. The results exhibited that the sizes of TTBPc/Co-TiO2 nanocomposites decrease with an increase in the amount of Co. The TTBPc and Co ion in the TiO2 structure caused a significant shift of absorption edge into the visible region.
