A solution processable hybrid organic-inorganic nanocomposite functionalized with Alq3which we synthesized previously, used as an emitting layer in an OLED device. The advantage of this new functionalized material is its deposition method that was replaced physical vapor deposition (PVD) with spin coating method. Morphological (FESEM/EDX images) studies shows that the particle size of synthesized nanocomposite material is about 70 nm. Electroluminescence (EL) analyses showed that hybrid organic-inorganic Hybrid-Alq3can be used in OLED devices to replace conventional Alq3.
