Introducing the benefits of powder coating as an industrial coating technology compared with conventional liquid paint

The main aim of this review is to demonstrate the benefits of powder coating technology vs. liquid paint, in which it covers the reports from industries, published within the last decade. The technology of Powder coating is described and compared with liquid paint in many aspects. Powder coating as a green industry and VOC free technology is mainly used to coat metals, such as household appliances, aluminum extrusions, and automobile and bicycle parts. Newer technologies allow other materials, such as MDF (medium-density fiberboard), to be powder coated using different methods.
