The purpose of this paper is to introduce and to discuss the
concept of the best simultaneous coapproximation in normed linear spaces,
which is the generalization of best coapproximation in normed linear spaces.
We obtain some set-continuity properties of set-metric coprojection operator.
Also we study best simultaneous coapproximation in quotient space
