Monitoring of Air quality in Shaibah in Basra city/Iraq

This study examined the impact of climatic factors in the distribution and prevalence of some trace elements in samples of dust fallout from areas near the oil refinery in Shaibah area in the province of Basra. the samples collected from area around the oil refinery .Gas Detection were used to determined air gas quality and The fallen dust collected by special containers. The trice metals (Ni, Cd, Pb and Cr) were Estimating in these samples. the results show that the air gas quality in normal ranges. There are variation in the concentration of trace elements with the change of wind direction and temperature change during the seasons of the year.
