Effect of Web-Based Learning Support System (WBLSS) on the Satisfaction of Workshop Participants

The main purpose of this investigation was the exploring the relationship between successful implementation of Web-Based Learning Support System (WBLSS) and the satisfaction of participants in training programs such as workshops. A case study was conducted among 20 university lecturers involved in two different workshops founded at the Islamic Azad University (IAU), Lenjan Branch. Attendees were varied in terms of department and familiarity with IT. Data was collected through questionnaire designed to detect both the satisfaction of participants and the level of success at implementing a WBLSS. The first section of the questionnaire was dedicated to evaluate satisfaction of workshop attendees. The second section was dedicated to assess the level of success enjoyed by the university as an overall score for implementing a WBLSS, especially for our focus group participants. The findings of this study showed the existence of the positive relationship between participantsʹ satisfaction and the successful implementation of WBLSS and also indicated that how the level of success at implementation of information technology-enabled learning system can affect satisfaction of workshop participants.
