Effect of Channel Prediction on Automatic Modulation Classification for Adaptive OFDM Systems

Automatic modulation classification (AMC) is an important task in open-loop adaptive orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. This paper proposes achannel prediction method to improve the performance of the AMC employed in the adaptive OFDM system. Efficienttechniques of noise reduction and interpolation are exploited to achieve an appropriate prediction quality. Simulation results show that the proposed method enhances the performance significantly.
