The main reason of using hybrid yarn in Pultrusion methode is reprisal the effect of high viscosity in melted thermoplastic and reduction of distance between rainforced fiber and melted thermoplastic. Hybrid yarn that is composed from thermoplastic fibers and fiber reinforcement, is a new method used in the preparation of pultruded thermoplastic composites prepreg with high impregnation. In this study, Tex(gr/km) of fiber polypropylene is one of the most important parameters effecting the impregnation of prepregs. In this study three Parameters are investigated in GL/PP side-by-side Pultrusion Process. The process variables investigated were die temperature, Tex of fiber polypropylene, fiber volume fraction and pulling speed and all parameters were varied in a two levels. Quality of Impregnation in the final part has been studied using microscopic images and void volume fraction measuring. Result of observations show that increasing Tex of fiber polypropylene lead to reduction of degree of impregnation.
