Effect of Stator Reactance on Asynchronous machine parameter determination

As Dc test has been used for induction machine stator resistance determination in literature and this test is not a correct test because Ac resistance is different from Dc resistance according to the reference, this paper is using induction machine parameter determination using no load and rotor locked tests instead of three tests of literature. The main idea is study of stator reactance on the parameter estimation method. Also according to the reference paper squirrel-cage induction machine dynamic model and equations are similar to those of double- cage machine. Then estimated parameters of squirrel-cage are accurately determined from double-cage model. The experimental data that are applied in the algorithm are extracted from reference paper. The algorithm is applied to a manufacturer data of 10hp doublecage induction machine considering different stator reactance for a well estimation from tests results
