    Geometric programming is a mathematical technique which has been developed for many nonlinear optimization problems. This technique is based on the dual program with linear constraints. Determination of species concentrations at chemical equilibrium Conditions is one of its applications in chemistry and chemical engineering. In this paper, the principles of geometric programming and its computational method are presented. To validate the application of the method in chemical equilibriums, as an example, the concenterations of species for ammonia synthesis reaction at equilibrium condition are determined. The obtained results are compatible with the experimental data available in the literature. This proposes the application of the geometric programming to determine the concenterations at the equilibrium condition for the reactions where the experimental data are not available.
