The use and frequency of Malay language learning strategies among foreign students

This study was conducted to identify the use and frequency of language learning strategies of foreign students while learning the Malay language. A total of 500 foreign students at an private institution of higher learning that made respondents. Respondents were selected at random. Questionnaire data were analyzed frequency, percentage and mean. The results showed that foreign students more frequently use vocabulary strategies from strategy to listen, read, write and speak the Malay language learning strategy selection. Vocabulary strategies to help foreign students to choose the right words to use in speech.
