Investigation of dyeing properties of wood, cotton and woolen fabrics with extract obtained from Rubus caesius fruits
Abstract :
In this work, total 27 numbers of wood, wool and cotton fabrics were dyed by using pre- mordantation, together mordantation and last mordantation methods with dyestuff obtained by pessing from Rubus caesius fruits. CuSO4.5H2O, AIK(SO4)2.12H2O and FeSO4.7H2O were also used as mordanting agents. Dyeing conditions and other characteristics were determined. According to the fastness analyses results, having high fastness colours were mostiy obtained and it was appeared that Rubus caesius fruits may probably be used as natural raw source in organic textile industry.
