Characteristics of explosives used for civilian purposes, their effects on the environment and measures
Abstract :
Explosives for civil use are substances required for the realization of mining, construction, irrigation projects in our developing country in a short time. In this paper, explosives for civil use are introduced and environmental problems which may arise during their use are revealed. Environmental problems during the use of explosives can be classified as; flying stones, air shock and noise, ground shaking (vibration) and dust emission during the explosion. To minimize these environmental problems mentioned, measures required to be taken are stated in this paper.
