Abstract :
In this study structural characteristics of Turkish Banking Sector has been analysed. Financial tables of banks between 2000-2012 is taken as data sets. Within the context of analyse; assets structure, assets quality and balance of income and expenditure has been focused on. Banking sectors expectations for the after 2013 were investigated. The share of turkish banking sector in general economy is smaller than the other developed and developing countries. In this respect, the industry has a very high growth potential.
