Abstract :
In the study, it will be focused on the Turkish declarations used in the process of judgment, particularly, the expressions or testifies used in the trials. Not only the communication used in the courtrooms, but also the conversations used in many stages during the process of judgment will be included in the study. Within this framework, the comparisons will be made between German and Turkish legal -law language elements, especially in the relevant sections in this context.In the first part of the study, theoretical concepts, such as; daily language, specialized language and the legal language will be evaluated and then the reasons behind the complexity of legal language will be mentioned. In the third chapter, firstly , the communication features of the people who are not experts , i.e.; witnesses and defendants , will be examined and then the attention will be attracted on communicative properties used by the lawyers specialized in the field, such as; the lawyers, the prosecutors and the judge .
