مرکز منطقه ای اطلاع رساني علوم و فناوري - A DISCOURSE ANALYSIS ON ANKARA NOVEL: KNOWLEDGEPOTENCY- IDEOLOGY

Abstract :

The argument of this work is formed as a result of seeing, trying to see the novel as a mirror reflecting the idea world of author, not as a mirror reflecting outside. The study having a descriptive content of concepts of knowledge-potency-ideology and a content explaining the context among them, mentions the relation of these concepts which form the Notion albasis of the work with literature. İn the first part new descriptive expressions such as “literary hegemony”, “ultimate ideologic discourse”, “stylisticideologic discourse” are presented in the context of the relation of these concept with literature. In this respect; it functions as a preliminary preparation for both basic.In the second part besides matters determining ideologic conducts of author, the appearing form of ideology and ideologic elements, how ideology shapes the discourse of author, the dominance made on reader by author by using technical elements and some information sources in the context of author’s ideology will be analysed. The purpose of thework is to trace ideologic worlds of novelist through some details, to determine not all information author gives but information exchanges of authors about ideology to constitute the hegemonic discourse of author, to analyse them reflecting on author’s style as a dominance shape.
