Abstract :
Intralingual translation that has been practised for centuries but is ambigious still, is among the important field of study of disciplines as literature and linguistics. Intralingual translation that aimed to comprehend of old textes today in general expression subsisted by some variety from past to present. Especially known by the practices, this notion has been implemented in different titles and is being implemented still. In this study, formation and development process of intralingual translation, its relationship with reception aesthetics and interlingual translation, and its place in Turkish literature will be discussed together with some examples.
