Abstract
Nâbî from Urfa who was one of the most important authors in Turkish Literature (d. 1124/1712) wrote two addenda for Dürretü’t-Tâc fî Sîreti Sâhibi’l-Mi’râc -also known as Siyer-i Veysî- which was written by Üveys bin Mehmed (Veysî) (d. 1038/1628). The author wrote a lot of Persian poems in the addenda that he wrote for Siyer-i Veysî. The poet quoted some Persian poems from other poets’ divans. In this study, Persian phrases in Nâbî’s Siyer-i Veysî addenda are translated, translations and sources -if available- of poems have been shown in footnotes.
