Title Of Article :
Validity And Reability For Preschool Value Scale-Parent And Teacher Form
Abstract :
The main purpose of this study is to develop a valid and reliable assessment scale to find out the value levels of the 5-6 year old pre-school period children through the opinions of parents and teachers. In this term, two different forms were developed for parents and teachers. While developing the forms, literature was reviewed, the teachers working in this area were interviewed, experts’ opinions were asked, and the drafts of the forms were constructed. The intelligibility of the drafts was tested by applying them to 10 students’ parents and teachers. Then, the reliability and validity studies were done by applying the forms to 110 students’ parents and teachers. The Kaiser-Meyer-Oklin value of the teacher form was found as 0.79; and it was found for the parents’ form as 0.77. The Bartlett s Sphericity test X2 value was calculated as 1.587, p 0.001 for the teachers’ form; and 1.564, p 0.001 for the parents’ form. According to the split halves method, the reliability coefficient was .86 for the teachers’ form and .84 for the parents’ form. Cronbah Alpha Reliability coefficient was .91 for the teachers’ form and .89 for the parents’ form.
