Abstract :
In this study, it is intended to investigate teacher and students’ opinions on usage of 7E learning model in teaching Blackbody Radiation, Photoelectric Effect, and Compton Scattering subjects in Modern Physics Unit. The sample composed of 26 11th grade students from Anadolu High School and 1 physics teacher working at this school in the spring semester of 2012-2013 academic year. Subjects were teached according to 7E learning model based on constructivist learning theory by teacher. Teacher and students’ opinions were collected by using through semi-structured interviews at the end of the practice process of12hours. This study is a descriptive study, descriptive and content analyses were conducted on qualitative data. The study showed that the practices based on 7E learning model increased students’ interest. It can be said that students’ willingnesses increase and they participate actively to practices when seeing the contribution to their learning.
