Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine whether students’ attitudes towards the use of smart board in maths classes show differences or not by considering various factors. The study group consists of 164 tenth grade students studying in Diyarbakır Ziya Gökalp Anatolian High School. Data were obtained by using the scale of attitudes towards the use of smart board developed by Tataroğlu and Erduran (2010)and personal information form. Data were analyzed through mean average, standard deviation, independent samples t test and one-way ANOVA analysis. The results of this research revealed that students do not exhibit positive attitudes towards the use of smart board in maths classes. Besides, no significant differences were found between the attitudes towards the use of smart board according to situations about students’ gender, having a computer and taking a computer course.
