Abstract
The aim of this study is to emerge benefits and difficulties that science student teachers faced related to Community Service course process. Case study research method was used in this study. The sample of this study consisted of 91 science student teachers. Student teachers participating in the sample of this study coded with lettters. Open-ended questionnaire and interview was used in data collection tools. Open-ended questionnaires applied to 91 student teachers, interviews were conducted with eight student teachers on a voluntary basis.Descriptive analysis methods were used in the analyzing proces of the qualitative data obtaining from open-ended questionnaire and the interview. At the end of this study, it is concluded that Community Service learning experiences is effective in making student teachers citizens sensitive to community problems, understanding the importance of cooperation and solidarity,to be effective in effective in personal and social development.
