The Investigation of Teachers’ Perceptions of Psychological Capital According to Various Variables
Abstract :
In this study, positive psychological capital level of perception of teachers were investigated. In addition the perception of positive psychological capital was examined in terms of type of variables as school and seniority. This study was designed with survey method and the study group was consisted of 380 teachers working in the 2014-2015 educational year. Research data were obtained from the internet. Datas were gathered throught the Positive Psychological Capital Scale which adopted by Çetin Basım (2012). The gathered data were analyzed with arithmetic mean, standart deviation, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and multiple analysis of variance (MANOVA). After the analysis, it was found that teachers’s positive psychological capital level was at a high level. İn addition, teachers’s perceptions of positive psychological capital showed signicifant differences at type of school variable to hope dimension and at seniority variable to hope and self-efficacy dimensions.
