Scholar s Perceptions and Struggle Methods Against Cyberbullying
Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to determine the perception and struggle methods of academicians aiming at cyber bullying. The research was designed as a research on phenomenology from qualitative research approaches. In this direction the study was carried out on 22 academicians working at Fırat University. Participants consist of 5 Expert, 7 Research Assistants, 5 Instructors, 4 Assistant Professors and 1 Associate Professor. A structured and semi-structured interview form was formed by the researchers in order to collect data in accordance with the expert s opinion after the related conceptual framework was searched. The data were analyzed using content analysis and descriptive analysis. As a result, academics are aware of cyber bullying situations on the internet and there are many ways that cyber bullying can cope with, but some academicians have occasionally been exposed to cyber bullying.
