Identifying Views of Sudents Form Department of Biology Education, Preschool Education And Science Education About Human Anatomy
Abstract :
In this study, the views of Ziya Gökalp Faculty of Education Biology, Preschool and Science Education students who took Human Anatomy course were taken and the possible improvements in the future of the Human Anatomy education given in the faculty of education were evaluated. 150 students from Dicle Üniversity Faculty of Ziya Gökalp Education participated in the study and thet were given a survey of 24 multiple choice items, which they answered voluntarily. Only 9.8 % of the participants asserted that they did not attend the Human Anatomy. 72.3 % of the students stated that they had some difficulties understanding and 91.2 % of them affirmed that visual learning should be given more importance. 65.3 % of the participants said that Human Anatomy topics increased their curiosity, whereas 42.6 % of them did not believed that Human Anatomy was needed, 45.8 % of them saw Human Anatomy as a waste of time, and 34.5 of them indicated that they would select the Human Anatomy as an elective course.
