Abstract
The purpose of this study, the effect of globalization to determine on the structure geography teachers (education and education science fields) and geography departments in Turkey universities. It has been done by the scan method. Geography departments are being established within the science and literature faculties in most developed countries as Turkey, Duration of undergraduate education is longer than the developed countries. In developed countries geography is organized such as geography faculty, geography department, geography and planning, geography and urban development. Parts of the physical geography, human and economic geography as a structure that stands out more limited in Turkey geography departments. The secondary education is given fifteen geography departments in Turkey. One geography departments has English preparatory class in Turkey. ECTS system is applied in the 11 geographical departments. , As a result, English preparatory class and ETCS system to be expanded and. number of department geography and it branches is re-configured in Turkey Universities. This research’s conclusions can contribute to latter discourse analysis.
