Destination Attracting Great Deal of Attention with Cruise Tourism: Port of Kuşadası
Abstract :
Today, cruise tourism is one of most coveted tourism activities in the world. Our country that has been located on the Mediterranean Basin where a large number of world-wide popular destinations can be seen in terms of cruiser tourism has many destinations may draw attention in terms of this type of tourism. You can find Kuşadası early in the list of these destinations where has a great potential with many natural and cultural appeal hosting. Kuşadası Harbor ranks the first in number of cruise ships as of 2013. In fact, 428 cruise ships and 577 685 passengers visited the Kuşadası Harbor as of 2013. Despite all this potential, Kuşadası couldn t reach the desired level among the competing destinations in the Mediterranean Basin. It is Understood that if the necessary regulations are made in many isssues such as introduction, urban landscape and shopping, Kuşadası can climb the ranks in cruiser tourism.
