Abstract :

Energy is globallyone of the most important needs nowadays. In the aim of meeting energy need, fossilfuels-based energyre sources in nature are rapidly consumed. However, because of their natural destroying during consumption, researches in alternate energy resources recently gathered speed. Becoming nature-friend of alternate energyr esource sincreasesit’s preferability. Biofuels produced frombio wastes are a kind of alternate energy resources. Prina wood are produced fromolive which is squeeze dalmostto death by being extracted fromit’soil. Olive cultivation which is broadly appliedin Nizip District in Gaziantep Province contributed to construction and development of this sector. Becominga cheapan davailable fuel is mainly reason for preference. According to the studies, it is a kind of fuel shaving equal calorytolignite coal. In this study production processes, usagearea and comparision of Prina wood toother fuels in result of laboratory test are done. Natural impactand results of this fuel in land survey performed in Nizip District are discussed.
