In this study, Afsin-Elbistan thermal power plants from the effects of pollution based on perception distance analysis was performed. Because of taking the distance concept, the field of study is divided into three zones and thermal power plants are considered as center. Total population of 142 658 live in settlements within these zones and 511 surveys were applied to them. The results acquired from questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS One-way variance analysis (ANOVA) was used to make comparisons between the zones in the study area. The post hoch (TUKEY) test was used whether there are any similarities or differences in the same zone.
