Determination of Dioxin, Furan and Polychlorinated Biphenyls in Sea Bass Fillets (Dicentrarchus labrax Linnaeus, 1758).
Abstract :
Pooled sample of sea bass fillets from one of the biggest fish farms of Turkey was analyzed for PCDD/Fs, dioxinlike PCBs and indicator PCBs. The results showed that PCDD/Fs, dl-PCBs and indicator PCBs concentrations were found as 0.18 pg TEQ g^-1 wet weight product, 0.85 pg TEQ g^-1 wet weight product and 3.68 ng g^-1 wet weight product respectively. Measured values were below the maximum residue levels indicated in both national and EU regulations.
