An overview on the fish diversity in the coasts of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Mediterranean)
Abstract :
This review reports fish diversity from the coastal waters of TRNC. From the results of collected studies for both fishery and ichthyoplankton in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), we determined totally 170 fish species, belongs to 86 families. TRNC fisheries consists of small scale such as gillnet, trammel net, longline and handline fisheries.
