Abstract
Swyer-James (Macleod) Syndrome is a radiologic condition characterized by hyperlucency of one lobe of lung and decreased vascularisation not due to an obstruction of the main bronchial airway. Patients are mostly diagnosed after recurrent lung infections. A 12-year-old boy with a history of recurrent lung infections who was diagnosed with Swyer-James (MacLeod) Syndrome on the basis of findings on X-ray chest, high resolution contrast tomography of chest and radionuclide perfusion lung scan was presented.
