A Study on the Realization of Environmental Accounting and Other Environmental Activities in Enterprises

Nowadays; the growing environmental expectations of internal and external stakeholders have led to an increase in the environmental responsibility, sensitivity and activities of the enterprises. At the same time, enterprises have started to have a better understanding of the environment and a responsibility to provide information to society about their environmental activities. This study focuses on the realization of environmental accounting and other environmental activities in enterprises. A survey was carried out on enterprises in various sectors within Izmir province and the results were evaluated and reviewed using exploratory data analysis and nonparametric statistical techniques.
