Duplication of left hepatic artery and right hepatic artery arose from superior mesenteric artery

During routine dissections for anatomy education in 75 years old male cadaver, variations of left and right hepatic arteries were observed. Double left hepatic arteries arose from common hepatic artery, right hepatic artery arose from superior mesenteric artery. Knowledge of anatomic variations of the hepatic arteries is very important, especially in terms of reducing complications of radilological or invasive procedures and surgery.
