Abstract
The incidence of thromboembolic complications are increased in pregnant women with mechanical heart valves and, thromboembolic events are important complications threating both the lives of mother and fetus. Therefore, ideal anticoagulant theraphy should avoid mechanical heart valve thrombosis and should not have teratogenic effect itself. But currently, ideal anticoagulant theraphy in pregnant women with mechanical heart valve remains unclear. In this case report, we present a 30-week-pregnant female patient in whom mechanical heart valve thrombosis developed during anticoagulation theraphy with low molecular weight heparin
