General Features and Current Applications of Louis XV. Style Furniture

Abstract
In this study, Louis XV. Style Furniture which has an important place in the history of furniture has been examined in general characteristics and the production methods of today. Also, some samples which are applied today were compared with the original samples. As a result of this work, it was seen that samples did not fully reflect the characteristics of style and were non-ergonomic and non-aesthetic in workshop-type production in order to reduce production costs. It has been concluded that it will be beneficial for both users and the furniture and design sector if the samples reflect their originals which are liked by their users and re-produced by using new machines and updated advanced technology.
