The Relationships Between Decision Making Strategies and Test Anxiety of Pre-School Education Teacher Department Students
Abstract :
This study examines the relationship between test anxiety and strategies of decision-making of students attending preschool education teacher department, and whether strategies of decision-making of students predicts test anxiety. The study group was composed by 315 students attending in Faculty of Education in Selçuk University. The data were collected using Test Anxiety Inventory (Öner, 1990), The Questionnaire of Decision Strategies (Kuzgun (1993). The study found that strategies of decision –making of the students significantly predicted sub-dimensions and total test anxiey of students. There was a negative relationship between strategy of reasonable decision- making and neurotic of test anxiety, total test anxiety. There was a negative relationships between strategy of independet decisionmaking and neurotic of test anxiety, affective of test axiety, total test anxiety. There was a pozitive relationships between strategy of indecisive decision making and neurotic of test anxiety, affective of test axiety, total test anxiety.
