Relationship between Task Conflict, Relationship Conflict and Intention to Quıt: A Research on Employees in Accomodation Units
Abstract :
Conflicts in organizations can be divided into two types; task and relationship conflict. One of the impacts of task and relationship conflict is to increase intention to quit. This study aims to investigate (1)relationships between occupational features and task conflict, relationship conflict, intention to quit, (2)relationship between task conflict and relationship conflict (3)relationship between task conflict, relationship conflict and intention to quit in accommodation establishments. The results of the study stated that there is no difference in the relationship conflict and intention to quit according to occupational features of the employees. But differences in task conflict exist depending on departments and accommodation facilities. Also a positive relationship is found between task conflict, relationship conflict and intention to quit in the study.
