Abstract
Imagology which finds application in different areas of the social sciences exhibits an interdisciplinary approach. In this study, in the context of the science of literature, the East (Easterner)-West (Westerner) images in Kurban Said’s novel called Ali Ve Nino will be identified and examined. Theoretical knowledge about imagology will be given, the concepts prejudice and stereotypes, in the context of imagology will be attempted to explain. The images, reflected in literary works and how these images are fictionalized by the authors will be discussed. Via the literary work, positive or negative prejudice and stereotypes which can be occured by readers will be analyzed.
