Abstract :
Art of literature and naturally, dramatic literary texts are voices and witnesses of their era; they are influenced by intellectual orientations that shape atmosphere of the era and this influence emerges as value design or designs in works. This study aims to analyze the philosophical core of dramatic texts “Oedipus the King” of Sophocles and “Bir Adam Yaratmak” of NecipFazılKısakürek in consideration of the mentioned interaction between the history of dramatic literature and the history of thought. Main focus of the study will be ontology of Greek idealist philosophy and premises of this ontology. Both texts will be analyzed in line with hypotheses on ontology to reveal source/ sources they utilize. In the current study, a comparative evaluation will be made and philosophical research method will be used
