Abstract
Spermatogenesis is a complex and continuing process in which many factor plays a role directly or indirectly. Transplantation of the spermatogonial stem cells and its culture as in-vitro offers an immense potential to set up original experiment designs concerning with understanding of these factor combinations in spermatogenesis mechanism. As an important factor in spermatogenesis, GDNF (Glial Cell Line-Derived Neurotropic Factor) plays a vital role in renewal and differentiation of the spermatogonial stem cells. So far, studies done have clearly showed that GDNF plays an important role in regulating of the spermatogenesis and determines renewal or differentiation of the spermatogonial stem cells, maintaining spermatogonia population. As a result, spermatogenesis has been defined in molecular level and effective methods to study the problems of the infertilities in domesticated animals iw being developed.
