IRRATIONAL ASPECTS OF ORGANIZATIONAL LIFE: ORGANIZATIONAL DIAGNOSIS BY USING PSYCHOANALYTIC APPROACHES
Abstract :
Organizations are social systems consist of managers and members who are making decisions based on many complicated factors such as emotions, personality, unconscious factors, past livings, values, perceptual differences. On the contrary of management literature’s approaches that are taking organizations as ‘rational’, people of the organization are not always rational. At the solution seeking process of problems in the organizations the deep and unconscious elements of organizations become more understandable in terms of providing healthy organizational life by using psychoanalysis and psychotechnic methods. Throughout this study a literature review about the psychoanalytic and clinical methods has been generated as a different approach, Within this context, revealing of the irrational tendencies in the organizations is being aimed by drawing a general frame related to these different approaches and intervention strategies.
