Effects of Vermicompost and Mycorrhiza on Plant Growth and Mineral Nutrition in Pepper

This study aimed to examine the effects of vermicompost and mycorrhiza separately and together on pepper growth and mineral nutrition. In the study mycorrhiza (0, 1 and 2 g pot ^-1) and vermicompost doses (0, 2.5, 5 and 10 g pot ^-1) was used. Plant nutrient analysis and fresh and dry weights were determined in leaf samples. According to results vermicompost and mycorrhiza applications had positive effects on fresh, dry weights and plant nutrition on pepper. Generally, pepper plants had more growth and higher nutrient concentrations with the highest vermicompost and mycorrhiza application.
