AGRICULTURAL IRRIGATION AND SOLAR ENERGY
Abstract :
Electricity production by solar energy is rapidly developing all over the world. Applications of electricity production by solar cells are used in a wide variety area and reduced initial investment costs, with each passing day. At the end of 2010 the regulations in our country remain far below the expectations of public opinion, negatively affects the photovoltaic sector. The use of photovoltaic systems for irrigation instead of diesel pumps cannot pervade because of technical inadequacies of pumps and deficiencies of the existing incentive arrangements. A price of fuels which we use in our country among the world’s most expensive fuel prices and it has a negative impact of agricultural practices in product quality. In this study, to the use of photovoltaic pumps instead of diesel generators for the various agricultural regions were investigated for different district and total dynamic heights. In addition, water amount can be pumped according to the different dynamic heights are investigated for selected the optimum region. Finally life cycle cost analysis was conducted for the optimum height and water amount. According to the current legal situation, recovery time is found 6 years. Savings to investment ratio (SIR) of photovoltaic system is calculated 4,6%.
