This study analyzes the relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution in Turkey. In the study, the period of 1950-2007 using annual data unit root with structural break and co-integration tests were applied. The findings of the study, economic growth and environmental pollution is that a relationship varying quantity with structural breaks in Turkey. In other words, our results indicate the existence of inverted U-shaped relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution in Turkey.
