A RESEARCH ON BURNOUT SYNDROME IN MEMBERS OF ACCOUNTING PROFESSION IN GIRESUN CITY

There are positive or negative results may be occurured resulting from employees are af-fected from circumstance in their lives at works. Burnout syndrome is a term that refers to negati-ve situations is more common on face to face communication oriented of group of occupations. In this study, accounting profession’s burnout syndrome levels were measured which can be com-municated face to face with another peoples. In order to examine in significant relationship between demographic attributes and burnout syndrome, Maslach Burnout Syndrome Scale is applied on 34 members of accounting profession at Giresun city center. The result of the study indicates that burnout syndrome levels of accountant professions that fulfilling the profession are higly correlated with emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal achievement in Gire-sun City.
