Abstract :
Focus of this study is mistakes made on evaluation and representation of graphics and tables within education articles published in national journals with referees. Articles and declarations published within 1999-2006 have been investigated. Samples representing various statistical mistakes were collected and examined. Conclusions are; wrong usage of statistical concepts, graphics aren t satisfying the purpose, inappropriate evaluation of graphics, insufficient knowledge in how to conduct t tests for dependent and independent groups, difficulty in preparing summary tables of analysis made, not knowing under what conditions hypotheses are to be accepted or rejected, mistakes in representation of test results within the text.
