Abstract
The aim of this study, proved by a case study approach, is to establish the knowledge, views and thoughts of science pre-service students educated at two different universities (80 students), about traditional and constructivist measurement-assessment approaches. The open-ended questionnaire was developed and findings obtained were evaluated. Pre-service teachers do not know the meanings of basis concepts in measurement-assessment and confused these concepts with the concepts of validity and reliability. The pre-service teachers do not want to use constructivist approaches in their classes and they generally want to use the same assessment approaches to implement in different education strategies.
