Abstract
Main purpose of this study is to compare reading aloud fluencies of third grade students who learned reading and writing with different methods. Reading aloud fluencies of students were compared in terms of correct reading, reading speed and prosodic features in reading, which are the aspects of fluent reading. In this study, “Multi-Dimensional Fluency Scale” was used for determining prosodic features and observation technique was used to collect data. The results of the study revealed that no statistically significant difference exists between reading speeds, reading errors and prosodic reading skills of third-grade students who learned reading and writing with different methods.
