Abstract :
The Second Constitutionalism era was one of the most important periods in Turkish educationhistory. The CUP (Ittıhat ve Terakki) administrators judged The Sultan Abdulhamit asoppressive and overthrew him, but they maintained Abdulhamit’s breakthroughs anddeveloped them in education field. Nationalist soul came to the fore as Turkishness andNationalism, so Turk-Islam view became dominant in education. Many arrangements weremade after the proclamation of The Republic similar to those discussed or performed in TheSecond Constitutional period. In this study after giving the general characteristics ofeducation in The Second Constitutional period, some information will be given aboutdevelopments which occurred in some levels of formal education.
